WIT WEDNESDAY

Today we worked on our upcycling WIT.

We got old hooks from outside Room 5 and we used them as a new way to hang scooters.

We used a drill to get the hooks on and off and we used a pencil to mark where to put the hooks.

We used real scooters to make sure the hooks were in the right places. My Mum came and helped!

It was good fun.

This week for chapter chat l made some dragon milk and fake jelly beans with paper .The jelly beans cost $2 per 2 jelly beans they are kiwi flavoured jelly beans and they are the colour green .l will now talk about the dragon milk l called it Rebecca's amazing dragon milk best before 26/2/2017 . My ingredients are honey water 'soft sugar pearls 'salt and pepper also lemon juice ' cornflour and 100s &1000 also sugar .l added a picture of a dragon l hope you like my work .

Field Days

In the weekends we went to field days .This first picture is my family eating Lunch l had spuds and Spanish donuts also mum and me had nuggets and chips together it was yummy.The second picture is me and Hadley with Rosie the cow. We got to play a game in the Rosie's shelter the game was when you sling shotted the bad plants with the gumboot there was lots of levels l got to level 8.Then the third picture is people coming down the big hill it is a big hill.We have a picture of the Nestle stall we got plates with pictures of foods on it .The last one is me on a tractor by a old school in the old school we got to write in ink pen on paper. We went to a tent where we could tackle a tackle bag that was dressed like a lion then we got a rugby ball with the silver fern on it .After that l decided that I will go on there cool bouncy castle there was a race between two people l sometimes won and sometimes we did not win.Also we saw people making horse shoes they put the horse shoes in the fire then shaped them depending on how big the horses feet are.Then we went on a bus to the field days car park.

Guinea pigs

Guinea pigs are rodents they come in  lots of colors  .

Guinea pigs cannot eat potato skins because the skins will hurt them a lot.You  can feed them cabbage because they love cabbage and they eat it all up.If you feed your guinea pigs lettuce please do not feed them iceberg lettuce because that is bad for them.

Did you know that guinea pigs used to live in Peru where Paddington bear lives in the movie.Guinea pigs are  more active in the night then day they make noise when they scatter around in the hay.They like long grass and good bushes to hide in  from predators that might eat guinea pigs  .

Eagles eat guinea pigs in Peru but there isn't any here where  I live so guinea pigs are safe but if you go to Peru you might see the eagle. Maybe you might get bitten by a guinea pig on accident It just makes a little blood.You can buy a guinea pigs that is scruffy if you buy a guinea pig that is scruffy you will have to brush your guinea pig only if has long hair not if it doesn't have long hair.

 I hope you know now about guinea pigs now so you can tell people about guinea pigs.

This is our WIT we did .We did a lot for one day of WIT creating.Me and jade were the only people in our group that were there because one peorson that is not here today.

our class went to pouakai zoo in the bus . The class saw two white bengels in the zoo there names were azra and calla. We got to have our  photos taken by our teacher me and laya had a photo together .We also got to see lion and other animals in groups. We had a awsome day.
